Role: Developer

To commemorate the 30 year anniversary of Diego Echeverria’s film Los Sures, Union Docs producer and director duo Christopher Allen and Alison S. M. Kobayashi restored the film for the 2014 New York Film Festival and produced several web experiences about the film in a piece called Living Los Sures. One experience, 89 Steps, follows Marta to see how her story had developed in the time since the original film’s production, and gives people a chance to interact with her and her neighbourhood.

89 Steps was developed initially with a team at the Tribeca Hacks hackathon in New York city and was further developed for publishing in the following year.
